For many children, a building is just a building.
For the children we serve, it is everything.
At The Forgotten Children, this building is a place of hope. It is where children come to feel safe, to learn, to laugh, and to be reminded that they are not invisible to the world.
But today, that safe place is in danger.
Last year’s heavy rains left serious damage on the building that shelters these children. The roof was weakened and the outside walls were badly affected by the constant storms. Since then, we have done everything we can to keep the doors open and the space usable.
But another rainy season is approaching…
and we cannot face it without urgent repairs.
If the rains arrive before we fix these issues, water could leak into the building and cause even more damage, putting this safe place at risk.
We urgently need to complete two critical projects before the rains begin:
1. Repair the roof and apply a rain protection coating
This will prevent leaks and protect the entire structure from further water damage.
2. Repaint and seal the main building
The previous rains stripped away the protective paint. Repainting will restore a protective barrier that shields the building from the elements.
To complete both projects, we need to raise $6,000.
For some, this may seem like a small number.
But for the children who rely on this place, it means protecting the one space where they feel seen, supported, and safe.
Every donation, no matter the size, brings us closer to protecting this place of hope.
If you believe that no child should feel forgotten…
If you believe every child deserves a safe place to learn and grow…
If you believe compassion can still change lives…
Please consider donating today.
And if you are unable to give, sharing this campaign could help us reach someone who can.
Together, we can ensure that The Forgotten Children are never truly forgotten.
From all of us, and from every child whose life is touched by this place—
Thank you for your kindness and generosity.
