This is my dear friend Sherry and her six year old daughter, Abigail. After trying to make her marriage work for years, it became all too evident that her husband was unwilling to receive help for his abusive behavior and his addiction.

Sherry and Abigail have been living with us for the past seven months and this is now a bittersweet time as they prepare to move across country to live with her son in OR. While she is ecstatic to be with her two grand babies and her son and daughter-in-law, she leaves behind a dear church family of many years and enters a new chapter with big unknowns. A new job, church, school for Abigail and starting over with nothing to her name in a new state!
