Following his court case with Environment Agency, Pete Marquis took responsibility for his actions and issued a heartfelt apology. Determined to make amends, he began his Community Service with the local branch of Shelter in Preston.
During his time with the organisation, Pete witnessed first-hand the incredible work Shelter does to support those facing the devastating realities of homelessness.
He saw the compassion, dedication, and tireless efforts of the team as they worked to provide not only a roof over people’s heads but also hope and a sense of dignity to individuals and families in desperate need. Shelter’s work goes beyond offering temporary accommodation—it’s about helping people rebuild their lives and offering practical support in their most vulnerable moments.
This experience deeply moved Pete, inspiring him to do more to support this vital cause.
Pete has actively engaged with many charities over the years and saw this as a great opportunity to raise money for a worthy cause. After all, everyone deserves a hot meal at Christmas.
Pete is looking for sponsorship for 100 hours of his community service, from friends and Business associates.
Donations from as little as 1p per hour up to £10 per hour.
Anything given will be greatly appreciated.
Pete’s commitment reflects his genuine desire to give back and make a meaningful contribution to the cause. By supporting this initiative, you’re not just bidding on his time; you’re joining a mission to provide hope, safety, and a brighter future for those who are often overlooked.
Let’s come together this Christmas to make a real difference. With your generosity, we can help Pete reach his target and ensure that Shelter continues its extraordinary work in transforming lives. Together, we can bring warmth, care, and support to those who need it most this festive season. ❤️
