On behalf of my brother Audley and myself, my name is Shelly, and our family is from Goshen District, St. Elizabeth, Jamaica. Growing up, we watched our mother give back to her community simply because she cared and that same spirit lives in us today.
Recently, Hurricane Melissa devastated the area, leaving many families without homes, food, and basic necessities. It breaks our hearts to see so many struggling to rebuild their lives.
The hurricane has passed, but the real crisis is only beginning. Clean drinking water and food are scarce, and many families are left without shelter or access to basic essentials. People are living what feels like an apocalyptic reality struggling to survive day by day.
With your help, we plan to return home and provide food, care items, and other essential supplies to those most affected. Your donation, no matter how small, can help provide food, clean water, and relief supplies directly to those in need.
Every contribution helps restore hope in Jamaica. Your donation provides:
• Nutritious meals and safe drinking water
• Clean clothing, bedding, and personal care supplies
• Materials to rebuild roofs and repair damaged homes
• Notebooks, backpacks, and essentials so displaced children can return to school
