Miss Shellene is an incredible member of our God's Little Treasures family. She is deeply loved by the children she works with and by all of her coworkers. Many of you know that Shellene is originally from Jamaica, where her family still lives.
On October 29th, Hurricane Melissa made landfall in Jamaica, leaving behind widespread devastation. Richard Solomon, the mayor of Black River, described the situation as “devastating—catastrophic is a mild term based on what we are observing here.”
Sadly, Shellene’s family was among those affected. Their homes lost roofs and windows, many of their belongings were destroyed, and they are now facing the difficult process of rebuilding their lives from the ground up.
We’re coming together as a community to help Shellene support her family during this heartbreaking time. Any amount you can give will go directly toward helping them rebuild their homes and replace what was lost.
Thank you for showing kindness, love, and generosity to someone who gives so much of herself every day.
