Hey everyone. As you know, it’s been a bit of a leap of faith by the two of us moving in together during a pandemic. On top of that, we really want to be able to get Shelby settled in and starting her life here in Canada.

After a long consultation with immigration specialists, the reality hit. In order for her to become a resident and able to work, we’re going to have to jump through a lot of hoops.

Most of this is paying for immigration services, but there are other things we have to apply for. Without specifying each individual price it all adds up to over $5000. Without Shelby working, and us relying on a lot of support from me… this is why we are starting this. I don’t like asking for help, especially financially, but getting together this amount of money so quickly is going to be difficult. We’ve already cut back on a lot of things, but it’s super hard to save up when living off of one income.

You would have our gratitude and thanks if you even have a little, but it would mean so much to the both of us. Having Shelby here has really changed a lot for me, and I’ve never been happier. We’ve found our person and overcame every hurdle together, and (hopefully) this is the last one.
