Help Shayla and Caine Through Zane's Recovery

I am Shaylas sister, Jade.

Shayla and Caine are not the type of people to ask for help when it’s needed so I am doing this for them.

On February 11th at 8:24PM, they welcomed their beautiful son Zane, into the world. The only complication at the time, was that he breathed in amniotic fluid on the way out into the world and had to be put on oxygen. Otherwise Zane was born completely healthy!!

Unfortunately, things took a turn for the worst on February 12th around 3PM when Shayla and Caine realized something was not right with little baby Zane. They called in their nurse and stated their concerns. After the doctors and nurses took him to do some tests and imaging, Shayla and Caine were informed that baby Zane had a Intraventricular Hemorrage- which is bleeding into the brain's ventricular system, where the cerebrospinal fluid is produced. Zane was placed in the NICU at the St. Cloud hospital for further monitoring and treatment. Later, Zane was life flighted to the Children’s hospital in Minneapolis, and is staying in the Specialty Care Unit. As of right now, it is confirmed that Zane had a stroke, but he is in stable condition. However, he has to stay in the unit for an unknown amount of time, to continue being monitored for the pressure and bleeding in his brain. We will find out more on the 16th after his next CT scan.

As you might know, this is not an easy time for Shayla, Caine and baby Zane. I am raising funds to help them with costs of their bills, gas, groceries, and anything else they might need during this time, as they will not be working to be with their son.
