Hi friends,
If you do not know me personally, my name is Ezra, and I am from Longmont, CO, currently living just outside of Kansas City, KS. I have created this GoFundMe for my mom, little sister, and stepdad, to help support them financially after Hurricane Helene.
Just three months after moving to Florida, My family—my mom Shawna, little sister Braylea, and stepdad John—have been seriously affected by Hurricane Helene. Thankfully, they evacuated safely and are unharmed, but they’ve lost their home, my mom lost her job, and, like many others, are now facing the challenge of starting over.
I want to ensure full transparency and accountability for how these funds will be used. Every single donation will be dedicated to ease the burden of rebuilding their lives.
ALL DONATIONS WILL GO TO:
- Temporary Housing/Shelter: This includes paying for hotels or rental accommodations if FEMA assistance is unavailable or delayed.
- Clothing and Essentials: Most of their personal items, including clothing, were destroyed in the storm. Funds will be used to purchase essential clothing and supplies.
- Food and Groceries: Immediate support for their daily food needs.
- Transportation: If necessary, the funds may also cover transportation costs for my mom to look for new job opportunities or for other emergency needs.
I understand that everyone has their own struggles, and if you’re unable to donate, sharing this campaign would be just as valuable and appreciated. Every donation, no matter the amount, will go directly to my family to help them rebuild.
