Here at the University of Southern Mississippi, our percussion GA, Shawn Lawrence, is an incredibly talented musician who has shared his passion around the world, even performing with the Jaguars NFL drumline. Recently, his storage unit back home was destroyed, taking with it all of his belongings—including his cherished collection of 25 African drums.

We are organizing a fundraiser to support Shawn as he rebuilds and gets back on his feet. What was lost holds a lot of cultural significance and is important to his life and career. We wish to show our gratitude for everything he does for us and help restore his joy and creativity! Your support can and will make a huge difference!
