Help Shawn heal from his horrible motorcycle accident.

Hello, my name is Mike. I'm a best friend and co-worker of Shawn Vaeth. A few days ago, Shawn was involved in a horrific motorcycle accident. His injuries are very severe, including a broken neck, shattered pelvis, shattered elbow, 8 broken ribs, and facial damage requiring plastic surgery, just to name a few. He's currently in ICU, with an entire schedule of surgeries ahead of him. Shawn is an amazing person, who is always ready to help anyone in need, but this time he is the one who needs all our help. He has a long road of surgeries and rehabilitation ahead of him. He and his family need all our support. Anything that can be done for Shawn, his wife Kelly, and his two children, Ariella and Jackson, is tremendously appreciated.

---UPDATE 1/6/25---

First and foremost, a BIG thank you to all that have donated!! Shawn is continuing to fight. Further testing has revealed more broken bones and damage to his spine which will require a backbrace at some point. Recently he's gone through a surgery to rebuild one of his elbows, and he's due for a tracheotomy in preparation for facial reconstruction. His friends and family have been by his side as much as possible while still allowing him to rest. His wife Kelly and the kids are holding up but definitely need the continued support!! Shawn unfortunately has a long road ahead of him.

UPDATE 1/15/25

Again I thank you all for your donations!! It is greatly appreciated!! Shawn continues to heal up. He made it through what is hoped to be his last surgery. He had his facial reconstruction surgery a few days ago, which ended up requiring his jaw to be wired shut for a few weeks. Hes awake and alert, and trying to talk as best he can. He's off the ventilator, but still has his trach. Hes also in both a neck and back brace. All things considered he's in pretty good spirits for what he went through. He understands that he's lucky to be alive. Next step is getting him transferred to a rehabilitation center, where the real work starts. That should hopefully be in the next few days. Rehabilitation centers are crazy expensive, so he and his family need our continued support!! Thank you all again!!!
