Hello, My name is Hoda. I am hosting this fundraiser to help my friend Shatha Zeyad evacuate safely from Gaza. Shatha is a freshly graduated dentist, after successfully completing her bachelors in Egypt, she decided to return to her home in Gaza in October of 2023, in hopes of opening her clinic and giving back to her community, but all of her dreams were shattered, and now that it’s been 7 months of constant fear over her & her family’s safety, they are in dire need to evacuate to Egypt. Shatha’s family is made up of 5 members, her parents Amal and Zeyad and her two siblings Shahd and Najlaa. I’ve set the goal for 50,000 USD as the amount needed to evacuate one person has reached 7,000 USD and the rest of the amount collected will be used to cover their living expenses (rent, groceries, transportation) once they reach safety.
