It is with heavy hearts that we share the story of our dear colleague and friend, Sharonda, who recently endured an unimaginable tragedy. While she was in the hospital, bringing her third child—a beautiful baby boy named Zayion—into the world, a devastating fire destroyed her home.

This heartbreaking loss has left her and her family without a place to call home. All the cherished baby shower gifts she was given to welcome her son were lost, along with her daughters’ belongings and countless irreplaceable personal items.

As a valued member of our school family, she has brought so much joy and dedication to our lives. On her last day before family leave, we celebrated her growing family and wished her well for this new chapter. None of us could have foreseen the hardship she would face just days later.

Now, during what should have been a time of celebration and bonding, she is faced with the challenge of rebuilding her life while caring for her newborn, her daughters, and herself. We are rallying together to provide her with the support and resources she needs during this incredibly difficult time.

This GoFundMe is our way of extending a helping hand. Funds raised will help her secure temporary housing, replace essential items for her and her children, and provide the stability her family so desperately needs as they navigate this overwhelming loss.
