What happened?

Wynmoor Community Council imposed a $1,000 fine on Shari, claiming she failed to control a third party who posted documents on Facebook.

But:

• Shari did not post them — and they know it.

• She was given 10 days to remove posts she didn’t create, impossible to comply.

• Their “proof” shows someone else’s name.

• The same documents were blamed on another person, who was also fined but not properly served.

• The fining committee wasn’t properly appointed, making the fine questionable.

• Florida law does not prohibit posting documents on social media.

Despite all of this, they moved forward.

Why this matters?

Shari is recovering from serious knee surgery, yet she’s now dealing with legal stress and mounting costs instead of healing.

The association’s legal representation is tied to Mark Bogen, who also serves as the mayor of Broward, and the board president, Jackie Railey, holds public office as well for Coconut Creek.

This creates a deeply uneven playing field; one resident versus a system with influence, resources, and power.
