My name is Shantal, and I’m reaching out because I’m facing homelessness tomorrow, along with my two little dogs. I’ve always worked hard and done my best to contribute to my community, but lately, work has been tough to come by. After a car accident a few years ago, I lost my vehicle, which has made it even harder to get steady work. Just last night, I was named team member of the month at my job, but I couldn’t even celebrate because I’m losing the roof over my head in less than 24 hours.

I’m asking for help so I can keep my dogs and myself safe, stay in Los Angeles, and continue searching for work. The funds raised will go directly toward temporary housing, food for my dogs, and, if I’m able to raise enough, a deposit for a car to help me get back on my feet. Every bit of support will make a real difference in helping us get through this incredibly difficult time.
