We're asking the local community in Holladay to help Shannon, a single-mother of three children (ages 16, 4, and 1) after she lost her mother, Kathryn Gillum, and home to a fire this past Thursday. This is all very new and overwhelming. Shannon is grieving while caring for her kids and now has to figure out a funeral and future housing and replace everything her family needs. Most everything was lost to fire, smoke or water damage.

We have found a local daycare that can take her two youngest children full-time to allow Shannon to figure things out. We just need the money to pay them. They have also given us a 10% discount off their rates. One month of full-time daycare for both children is $1,980. Any additional funds can be used for funeral/burial costs, housing, and replacing belongings.
