Help Shanika and Doodle move in their own place

Hello,

My name is Shanika. I appreciate you taking the time to read my story.

I’m starting a campaign on GoFundMe to help my daughter and I start a new life. My daughter is almost three and her happiness and safety are my utmost priority.

With that being said, my life has taken a pretty rough turn. So, I will be transitioning from wife to single mom. This was a complete shock to me and I was not nearly prepared, but I guess this isn’t something you can prepare for. I want to give my daughter the very best life which starts with providing a roof over her head. Divorce has a negative social connection ,but I refuse to let that dictate how I react to the situation. I have always been a positive person, and have always tried to share light and love with others. No matter the situation; I’d rather not lose that in myself.

My GoFundMe is for me to move into my own place and help with moving expenses. I want to be completely honest. There is no bad blood between parties and no one is being put out on the street. My goal would assist my daughter and I secure our own place with a couple months rent as well as purchasing any essentials that may come along.

I assure you as you’re reading this, I’m looking for a job ,and checking status on put in applications. In case that question crossed your mind.

I’m 31, starting over after an almost twelve-year relationship and to say I’m frightened is an understatement. This is just a new chapter; I know I can make a beautiful life for my daughter, I just need a little help.
