Help Me Be Reunited with my Daughter

Hello, my name is Shane Martinez. For the past eight years by the Grace of God, I’ve been able to turn my life around after a battle with addiction.

From that first day, I knew I was fighting for more than just myself. I am also fighting for my children. In this particular instance, I’m fighting for my daughter.

She has been failed on multiple levels, by many people including me in the past. Now the State has also failed my daughter. Today I am in the biggest fight of my life… trying to keep my daughter safe and regain custody of my daughter.

In October 2023, I retained an attorney and began the process to regaining custody of my daughter. Over the course of the year and with the help of family and friends I have paid $23,000 in attorney fees and court cost.

In August 2024, I was awarded temporary emergency custody, but it seems this is just the beginning. I have exhausted every resource I have and unfortunately have still come up short. The money put into client trust with my attorney has been depleted and they are requesting more payment to proceed. According to my attorney, they believe I can wrap this up with additional $15,000, so that is my goal.

I work for a well established local company and have a steady part-time job on the weekends. I will continue to do my part, but I am at an impasse and therefore I’m coming to you my family, friends and community to humbly ask for any financial assistance and all prayers for God’s will to be done.
