For the last seven years, I’ve poured everything I have into building HCCI Protective Services around one simple belief: communities deserve to feel safe, supported, and protected without fear changing who they are.
That mission has taken me into schools, nonprofits, faith communities, high net worth individuals, and organizations that simply want to create spaces where people can gather, learn, worship, work, and connect with peace of mind. Every step of the way, I’ve continued searching for opportunities to learn, grow, and better serve the people who trust us to help protect what matters most.
Last year, I was given the opportunity to travel to Israel and train alongside experts in resilience, preparedness, community protection, and Krav Maga. I want to be very clear that this opportunity is not connected to supporting armed conflict or political activity in the Middle East. The focus of this training is entirely centered on strengthening communities, protecting vulnerable spaces, and learning specialized approaches to preparedness and resiliency that are uniquely available through programs based in Israel.
That experience challenged me, inspired me, and changed the way I think about service and leadership.
During that trip, I trained with Ravid Elfasi, whose work helping strengthen Jewish communities and build resilience has impacted people around the world. Nearly a year later, he personally invited me back to Israel to become an instructor through his program and help bring this training and knowledge back to communities here in the United States.
I can’t fully describe what that invitation means to me.
This is not a vacation. This is an opportunity to bring critical training, partnerships, and knowledge back home to better support schools, faith communities, nonprofits, and families here in the United States.
Ravid and his team have generously offered to cover my lodging, meals, and training expenses. The only thing standing between me and this opportunity is the cost of airfare.
I’m asking for help raising $6,000 to make this trip possible.
I shared more about the mission and why this opportunity matters so deeply to me in the fundraiser below. If you feel moved to donate, share, or simply take a moment to read it, I would be deeply grateful.
Thank you for believing in the importance of safer, stronger, and more resilient communities.
