Hello,

My name is Marina Torre and I have created this GoFundMe on behalf of my brother, Shane Torre, and his girlfriend Steph. They live in Altadena, CA, and today, they lost their apartment in the Eaton Fire. The fire began behind their beautiful neighborhood in Eaton Canyon, prompting evacuation last night.

Unfortunately, they evacuated with hardly any of their belongings and have been left with nothing as the Eaton Fire continues to grow to over 10,000 acres.

They got out with just a bag of clothes and their cat Luna, and slept in their car last night in a Target parking lot in Pasadena.

To receive this news today is heartbreaking, and earth-shattering for our family, and for Shane and Steph.

We were very fortunate to just get to spend New Years with them for the Rose Bowl and my dad’s birthday, so having just seen the community thriving, we are devastated for them.

I am humbly asking for help from anyone in this community that knows Shane and would like to donate to help them get back up on their feet.
