Help Shana Secure Legal Representation For Her Family

We have created this GoFundMe on behalf of Shana Wallace.

In July 2024 Shana was brought into a modification/custody order for Elle Rose (“Ellie”) - where she has had sole custody for the past 3 three years.

The court ordered for Ellie to have unsupervised overnight visits with her biological father who lives over four hours away - and is being forced to meet at a police station as the drop off point, which that alone can cause distress.

Despite having sporadic supervised visits throughout the past couple years, she has not bonded with her biological father. Co-parenting is not always easy, but should always be in the best interest of the child - creating safe and healthy progression.

Shana was unable to be represented due to the retainer fees and timing, and is working to appeal the court order. Unfortunately, in the county of Mendocino there are no pro-bono/sliding scale attorneys.

Our goal is to raise $5k to secure an attorney - anything helps.
