Two days ago, our dear friend and colleague Shameeka lost everything when a fire destroyed her home. Thankfully, she and her two children are safe, but all of their belongings are gone.

Shameeka has spent years caring for others as an ER nurse, showing compassion on people’s worst days. Now it’s our turn to care for her. As a single mom, starting over is an overwhelming challenge, and we want to help her rebuild for her kids.
