Dear friends,
I’m reaching out because our friend is facing a situation that no one should have to go through alone. After six months in detention, he was deported to Israel last Thursday with nothing but the clothes on his back. He arrived without a suitcase, without his belongings, and without a shekel in his pocket. At 40 years old, starting over from absolute zero—after months in prison and exhausting legal battles—is a challenge that’s nearly impossible to face alone.
Many of us are used to donating to organizations or people we don’t know, but this time, it’s one of our own. He is a good friend to all of us, and now it’s our turn to be there for him. Our goal is to give him a soft landing and a real chance to rebuild his life. The funds raised will help him with essentials like clothing, personal items, a place to live, transportation, and the transfer of his property. Every contribution, big or small, is a breath of fresh air for him right now. It’s not just about the money—it’s about showing him that he’s not alone in this struggle.
“Whoever saves one soul, it’s as if they saved an entire world.” He is a soul close to us. From the bottom of my heart, I ask you to open your heart and help him rise and stand on his feet again. Together, we can make a real difference in his life.
