Hi my name is Lenzi i’m from London and I’m fundraising on behalf of Shaima who lives in Gaza.

The funds collect will help shaima with the cost of living for her and her family, to get foods, and proper shelter and basics necessities.

This is her story.

My name is Shaimaa, I’m 22 years old. Before the war, my life was simple but full of joy. I lived with my loving family in a peaceful home, surrounded by a wide garden filled with flowers. Every corner of that house held memories of laughter, warmth, and togetherness. We had dreams, routines, and a sense of safety.

But when the war began, everything changed in an instant. Our home was destroyed, and with it, the life we once knew. The memories we built there, the birthdays, the family dinners, the quiet mornings, all vanished under the rubble. What we lost wasn’t just walls and belongings, but the sense of stability that every family deserves.

Now, we live in a small, worn-out tent. We are a family of ten crammed into a space that was never meant for living. We sleep beside insects, battle the heat, and face constant uncertainty. We’ve been displaced more than ten times, from the north to Rafah, then to Khan Younis, to overcrowded UN shelters, and now to the streets of Deir al-Balah, where our tent barely stands.

Life in this state is more than difficult, it’s exhausting, both physically and emotionally. We are not living, we are merely surviving.

With great humility, I’m reaching out and asking for help. Not out of weakness, but out of hope. Hope that someone, somewhere, will hear our story and choose to act.

Your support, no matter how small, could help us take one step closer to safety. It could mean a proper roof over our heads, access to clean water, and a moment of rest for my parents who carry this burden with quiet strength.
