Hi everyone, my name is Marjorie, and I’m creating this GoFundMe for Shag and his loyal service dog, Howie.

Shag is a humble, soft-spoken man who never asks anyone for anything. When I first offered him help, all he said was, “Anything at all helps.” He’s always grateful and appreciative for even the smallest act of kindness.

Shag lives on the streets with his service dog Howie, who is a big senior pup (around 65 lbs) and starting to deal with hip and joint issues. Despite having so little, Shag always makes sure Howie is taken care of first. Their bond is truly beautiful — they depend on each other for comfort and survival.

They are in need of basics like food, shelter, dog supplies, hygiene items, and support for Howie’s joint care. I see them regularly, and I’m hoping to give them both some stability, comfort, and relief.

Every dollar donated will directly support Shag and Howie.
