For years, Sew Fun Jax has been a place where creativity comes alive. Children as young as five have walked in unsure and walked out confident, proud, and capable—holding something they made with their own hands. Teens have discovered purpose. Adults have rediscovered creativity. Families have found connection. We’ve never just taught sewing. We’ve taught confidence. We’ve taught problem-solving. We’ve taught “I can do this.”

Now, we’re being called to take the next step. Our current building has been sold, and while that means we must move, it also means we have the opportunity to create something even greater: a permanent home for Sew Fun Jax. Our current location has been sold, and we are now in transition. We are actively securing a new location and plan to reopen our doors by mid-August to September at the latest. Until then, we are continuing classes through a temporary satellite location during June, July, and August—because our students deserve consistency, no matter what. Your donation will directly help us secure our new space, cover lease and build-out costs, purchase additional sewing machines and equipment, support specialized sewing programs for children on the spectrum, create safe and inspiring classrooms, provide scholarships for students in need, and keep programs accessible to our community.

You don’t have to sew to understand impact. This is about giving kids and adults a safe, creative space, teaching real, hands-on life skills, and building confidence in a world that often tears it down. We are creating a space that will serve Jacksonville families for years to come and a sustainable sewing community for Jacksonville.
