Seth entered this world in 2001. I knew something wasn't right but couldn't put my finger on it. At the age of 2, he wouldn't speak, and I was told he was autistic. I already had 3 kids and just found out I was pregnant with twins. I was also told that Seth would never speak and would end up in a hospital ward.
Over the years, through hard work and a lot of speech therapy, Seth was able to talk. He went to school and graduated with a 4.0. (That was a battle).
He is now living as a high-functioning autistic adult and works part-time. Unfortunately, he doesn't make enough for any apartments to consider him. We found a mobile home that he can purchase, and he will just need the lot fee, which he can easily do.
The trailer is old (1974) and needs a lot of work, but all of that can be done over time.
It is in need of a new furnace, new toilet, and stove prior to moving in. We are asking you to open your hearts and help us make him a successful adult in this hard world.
