Our family is facing a difficult situation as Sergio is being deported to Mexico after living in the United States for over 45 years. Sergio is a devoted father, son, and uncle who has worked tirelessly to support his family and serve his community. Despite a mistake in his past and an old deportation order from 1991, he rebuilt his life, became a reliable painter in Florida and North Carolina, and was always the first to lend a hand to neighbors in need. His sense of humor and love for good times have brought joy to everyone around him.
Now, Sergio is being forced to leave behind the family who loves him, including his two daughters—one of whom recently got engaged. The thought of him missing her wedding day is devastating for all of us. He will arrive in Mexico with nothing: no family, no place to stay, no job, and no resources. Our family is asking for your support to help cover Sergio’s relocation expenses, including the cost to send his truck to Mexico so he has transportation and can travel to and from work when he finds one. Every donation, no matter the size, will help him find housing, food, transportation, and the essentials he needs to survive this sudden and life-changing transition.
Your generosity will show Sergio that he is not alone in this struggle. We are deeply grateful for any support, love, and prayers you can offer during this incredibly difficult time.
