My name is Miranda Heang. I am the daughter of Sergeant Darwin Schmitz. A retired military veteran. He has done so much for this country, and for his family. He was married, and now divorced. Since the finalization of the divorce she has drug his name through the mud, telling lies to anyone who would listen. Trying to coerce his family into trying to believe her lies. While he was on active service, my father would train for months on end, and during this time, he did not realize who he had married on his time away. Taking a hold of everything he has ever worked for. Being the kind person he is, he did not believe his family when they told him she was not the person he thought she was. My father built a small ranch using all of his savings from the military to create a new life after retirement. He has unselfishly built the ranch for her and her kids. And in return, they have knowingly destroyed the home he built, because he was cast out on a lie she created. When he was no longer giving her what she wanted, she created a whole lie of domestic abuse. I understand domestic abuse is nothing to take lightly. This man had never had a record of 53 years, always fought for the little man. Helping everyone, but himself. He is in a horrible situation with this woman taking everything from him. Military awards awarded for excellence, military records, children's personal records, personal paperwork, trucks he worked on his whole life, family photos. Personal things that one can't live without. I are asking for help not because he wants it, but because he deserves it! He doesn't want money, he wants FREEDOM. Everything he has ever fought for. From this woman and her maniacal hold on his whole life! I appreciate you all and God bless America!
