Hey everyone,

I’m putting this together for my mom, Serena, who’s been working so hard to build her dream home in North Carolina. If you know Serena, you know her to be a creative, free spirit. This house is that representation of her. She’s done everything she can to make it happen — saved for years, planned carefully, and managed to get a good bit of the house built. Nearly all by herself!

But like with most building projects, things didn’t go exactly as planned. Between delays, unexpected expenses, and Hurricane Helene, she’s now come up short on the money she needs to actually finish it. She’s so close, but just can’t move forward without a little help.

This home means everything to her. It’s not just a place to live — it’s something she has envisioned and worked toward for a long time. Living in it unfinished has been really hard, especially after putting so much of herself into it.

If you’re able to donate, it would truly mean the world to us. The money will go directly to the things she needs to wrap it up — like finishing Electrical & Plumbing, Drywall, and some Flooring to make it livable.
