Immigration Lawyer For my Dad

My name is Leticia Aranda. On June 28th, Border Patrol took my father from his job. He is an honest, hard-working man who has been living in the U.S. for nearly 20 years.

My father has two children here — myself and my brother, Luis. We are devastated. He was being held in the immigration center in Los Angeles, also known as el sótano. He was there under inhumane conditions, with little access to food or clean water, cold and hungry in an overcrowded room. It’s very painful to know someone so kind and loving is being treated this way.

Our family is hoping he will be processed soon and given a fair court date. We don’t know where he was transferred to. But in the meantime, we urgently need help covering legal expenses to give him a fighting chance.

Mi padre tiene dos hijos aquí: yo y mi hermano, Luis. Estamos devastados. Estaba detenido en el centro de inmigración de Los Ángeles, también conocido como el sótano. Estaba allí en condiciones inhumanas, con poco acceso a comida o agua limpia, frío y hambriento en una habitación superpoblada. Es muy doloroso saber que alguien tan amable y amoroso está siendo tratado de esta manera.

Nuestra familia espera que sea procesado pronto y que se le dé una fecha justa en la corte. No sabemos a dónde lo trasladaron. Pero mientras tanto, necesitamos urgentemente ayuda para cubrir los gastos legales para darle la oportunidad de luchar.
