I am Dawn Wilcox, founder and executive director of Women Count USA. I’m a registered nurse in Texas and I began a femicide database of all women and girls murdered by men and boys in the U.S. from 1950 to present.

My older 12-inch-screen laptop is dying, extremely slow and it is inhibiting my ability to do research and documentation. I want to purchase a desktop. I do not have a nonprofit, so I do not receive grants to do this work. I have saved a few hundred dollars from smaller Patreon donations.
