Help send the Iron Patriots Silver Team to Korea!

Tax deductible
This summer, one of NWA's top First LEGO League (FLL) teams - Providence Academy's Iron Patriots Silver - has an extraordinary opportunity, and we’re asking for your help to make it possible.

The Iron Patriots Silver are a team of six Bentonville/Rogers students in grades 4–7 who recently achieved an incredible milestone: the top Robot Performance score in the entire state of Arkansas at the state competition. Through hard work, teamwork, and countless hours of practice, they have now been invited to compete at an international First LEGO League Invitational in South Korea, from July 3-5th.

This invitation is a tremendous honor and a once-in-a-lifetime experience for these students. It’s more than just a competition - it’s a chance to:
• Represent Arkansas and the United States on a global stage
• Collaborate with students from around the world
• Build confidence, leadership, and problem-solving skills through STEM

Why We Need Help

While this opportunity is incredibly exciting, the cost of international travel is significant. It costs about $2,784 to send one student to the international competition. Our goal is to help cover as much of that cost as possible for the team (6 students) and coaches/chaperones (5 parents) so every student can participate regardless of financial barriers. This adds up to a total of $30,624.

Funds raised will help cover:

✈️ Flights – $23,100
Lodging – $3,500
Meals – $1,500
️Competition Registration – $2,500
GoFundMe fees (3%) - $930

Why Your Support Matters

These students have poured their hearts into robotics - learning to code, engineer, test, fail, and try again. Along the way, they’ve demonstrated perseverance, creativity, and teamwork far beyond their years. Your support helps ensure that financial barriers don’t prevent them from experiencing this incredible educational opportunity.

No donation is too small. Every contribution brings the Iron Patriots Silver one step closer to South Korea - and shows these kids that their community believes in them.

$10 – Helps cover snacks and small supplies during travel.
$25 – Helps provide a team meal during the competition.
$50 – Helps pay for local transportation (subway/bus) in Seoul, South Korea.
$100 – Helps cover competition materials and robot supplies.
$250 – Helps pay for a portion of a student’s hotel stay.
$500 – Helps cover a large portion of a student’s international flight.
$1,000 – Sponsors a major part of a student’s travel costs.
$2,784 – Fully sponsors one student’s trip to the international competition.
