Hi everyone, my name is Sophie Tooher and I am a transition year student in the Ursuline in Thurles. I have been chosen to partake in a project to fundraise and visit an Ursuline school in Kenya. It is the Ursuline order mission in Kenya to the protection and education of young women. The project gives the chance to make a positive impact on local communities, by providing another girl the opportunity of a full years education , while experiencing the enchantment of rural Kenya. It is an invaluable opportunity to work closely with local families and be immersed in the vibrant culture and forging lasting connections along the way.
