Hello, my name is Michael, and I’m fundraising to support my daughter, Sarah-Leigh, who has been given an incredible opportunity to take part in a life-changing expedition to Ecuador in 2027 with Camps International.
This unique journey is so much more than travel. During her time in Ecuador, Sarah-Leigh will work on a range of community, environmental, and conservation projects designed to make a meaningful and lasting difference. Camps International programmes focus on supporting local communities, improving living conditions, protecting wildlife, and preserving the environment, and Sarah-Leigh is determined to play her part.
Why This Means So Much to Her
At school, arts and culture have always been her passion, she’s creative, thoughtful, and full of imagination. Outside the classroom, she has been the heart of her rugby team, always making sure every teammate feels included, supported, and looked after. She has a natural warmth and kindness that shines through everything she does.
This expedition is a chance for her to put those strengths into action on a global scale, to help others, to grow, and to challenge herself in ways that will shape her future.
Our Fundraising Goal: £5,490
To make this dream a reality, we need to raise £5,490, which covers:
- Camps International expedition fees
- Leader fees and staff costs
- Flights and travel to Ecuador
- In-country transfers
- Orientation and language lessons
- Project materials and local transport
- Accommodation and food during the month-long expedition
This fee excludes medical insurance, spending money, travel insurance excess, kit and vaccinations.
We are committed to being transparent, every penny raised will go directly to supporting Sarah-Leigh’s participation in this once-in-a-lifetime experience.
