Wedgewood Church is a liberal establishment located in Charlotte, North Carolina. They're known to be active within the LGBTQ community and support anyone into their church.
On Friday, January 20, 2017 Wedgewood Church became aware that their rainbow pride flag had been stolen from its pole. It was discovered missing the following day. This is not the first time the church has had its flag targeted, with the previous solution being to move the cleat (rope tie down area) higher.

Vandalized flag pole with the rope tied around its cleat.
I contacted Rev. Dr. Chris Ayers about options and pricing for adding a cleat box over the tie down point and a halyard over to cover the rope. At the moment this is currently not in their budget due to working on putting funds towards an expensive roof repair. He will need to relay the height and width for specific costs.
Looking into options from the Conder Flag Company (before taxes):
*Cleat Box & Halyard Cover: $218 (this portion is now funded)
*Hardware: $17.40 (this portion is now funded)
*Taxes: $30.12 (this portion is now funded)
*Installation: $180 (this portion is now funded)
TOTAL: $445.52
If any raised funds go beyond the total cost they will be donated towards Wedgewood Church's roof repair.
