Every child deserves the chance to discover their talent. Every young person deserves somewhere they feel they belong. Every member of our community deserves access to the arts.
That's why we created Aintree Initiatives for Performing Arts (AIPA).
Based in the historic Old Presbytery in Aintree, AIPA has transformed a once-underused building into a welcoming community arts centre where children, young people and adults can learn, create, perform and grow in confidence.
Today, our building is home to music tuition, rehearsal spaces, youth theatre, choirs, wellbeing activities and AIPA's Social Circle—an inclusive programme supporting neurodivergent young people and adults through creativity, friendship and the performing arts.
Every week our rooms are filled with music. From beginners taking their first piano lesson to bands rehearsing, choirs singing and young people discovering confidence through performance, AIPA is becoming a place where everyone is welcome.
But our building now needs your help.
The Old Presbytery requires essential investment to secure its future. We urgently need to replace ageing windows and external doors, carry out roof repairs and improve accessibility so that everyone can safely enjoy everything AIPA has to offer.
These improvements are not just about maintaining a building—they're about protecting a community resource that is already making a real difference.
Your donation will help us:
Replace ageing windows and doors.
Repair the roof and protect the building for the future.
Improve accessibility for disabled visitors and performers.
Create warmer, safer and more welcoming teaching spaces.
Expand opportunities for local children, families and adults to access music and the performing arts.
Every pound donated helps us move one step closer to creating a sustainable, inclusive community arts centre for future generations.
Together, we can preserve this historic building, invest in local people and ensure that creativity continues to thrive in Aintree.
Thank you for believing in our vision.
