Thank you for taking the time to hear Henry’s story.
Henry is a bright, kind teenager who has faced more instability and uncertainty in his young life than any child should. Abandoned by his biological father in the United States, Henry spent years bouncing between various households—never sure how long he could stay or who would care for him next.
In July of 2024, Henry’s life took a hopeful turn when Austin and Caitlin Hux welcomed him into their home and hearts. Since then, they have provided him with love, structure, safety, and the support every child deserves. While they have not been able to officially adopt Henry at this point, they were granted full legal custody—and most importantly, the presiding judge included the language necessary for Henry to submit a Special Immigrant Juvenile (SIJ) petition.
This is a crucial step. If approved, it could make Henry eligible for lawful permanent residency (a green card), giving him the ability to remain in the United States safely and to build the stable and promising future that he deserves.
However, filing for SIJ status is complicated and requires skilled legal representation. That’s where we need your help.
Austin and Caitlin are doing everything they can to care for Henry and advocate for his future, but the immigration attorney fees are significant—estimated at $7,500 or more. These legal services are essential to help Henry navigate the immigration process correctly and to give him the best chance possible at being approved.
Every donation—no matter the size—will go directly toward the attorney fees needed to secure Henry’s SIJ status and his future in the United States. Your generosity is not just a financial gift; it’s a gesture of love, support, and belief in a young man who has already endured more than most but still dares to hope.
Please consider donating and sharing Henry’s story. Together, we can help build the foundation for a brighter, safer, and more certain future for him.
Thank you and God bless you for your kindness.
