On January 30 at 10:02 AM, our dad, Ron Widman, took his final breath and went home to Jesus. Our hearts are shattered, and while we grieve, we are also incredibly grateful for the outpouring of love and support. Many have asked how they can help, and this is our greatest wish—to give our mom and sister, Autumn, the stability they need as they navigate this unimaginable loss.
Our dad was the foundation of our family. A devoted husband, a loving father to his four daughters—Harmony, Elizabeth, April, and Autumn—and a proud grandfather to Brylee, LB, Harlow, Norah, and Mae. He was also a Vietnam Veteran, a mentor to many, and a quiet but steady source of wisdom, kindness, and strength. He built a life in Palm Harbor, FL, rooted in faith, love, and service to others.
For the last year, our mom was his full-time caregiver, standing by his side every step of the way while also being solely responsible for our younger sister, Autumn, who has Down syndrome. With his passing, they now face not only overwhelming grief but also financial uncertainty. With our dad’s passing, they now face the heartbreaking reality of losing not just him, but also the financial security he provided. Without help, our mom will be forced to make difficult decisions about their home and future while in the midst of unimaginable grief.
Our Goal: Stability & Security for Our Mom & Autumn
We know this is a big goal, but we are hoping to pay off their mortgage to relieve financial pressure and give our mom the time and space to make the best decision for her and Autumn. We want them to have the ability to grieve and heal without any immediate burdens, so when the time comes, she can determine what is best for their future—on her own terms.
Our dad was always the first to offer support, encouragement, and guidance to those who needed it. Now, we ask for that same kindness for his wife and daughter, who cared for him with unwavering love until his final breath.
If you are able to help, we are forever grateful. If you cannot donate, please know that your prayers, kind words, and sharing this page mean just as much. Our dad made a lasting impact on so many, and we believe that love will come back to lift up the family he cherished so deeply.
Thank you for being a part of our journey and for keeping our family in your hearts.
With love and gratitude,
Harmony, Elizabeth & April
