Seasons Park Apartments in Richfield was saved once before, when the city and Aeon came together to keep working families from being displaced. Now those same families need us again.

Over the past few months, ICE agents repeatedly targeted Seasons Park, forcing residents to miss work and stay home in fear. Several families, all income-qualified at 60% of area median income and living paycheck to paycheck, have fallen behind on rent through no fault of their own. The threat of eviction is real.

We met the goal of $13,400 to meet the needs of 11 households needing help for March rent. Wow! We are so grateful. The new goal of $27,000 is to reflect the need to begin gathering funds for April rent now.

These families do not have savings to fall back on. Even a few weeks of missed work creates a hole that takes months to climb out of. We are raising funds to cover rent directly, with no administrative costs and every dollar going straight to keeping families in their homes.

Dave Snyder is a trusted friend who is acting as the beneficiary of this fund. Dave is CEO and lead organizer at Rhizome Organizing. He has an organizing relationship with the tenants at Seasons Park and will be taking the lead on dispersing the fund to the households in need. Prioritization will be given to households facing eviction. All households assisted will be ones directly impacted by the ICE Surge that happened in the Twin Cities in early 2026. The distribution of funds will be done in partnership with the households and the landlord, directly cutting checks to the landlord whenever possible.
