Help Scouts BSA Troop 259 Replace Stolen Equipment
Donation protected
Hey folks. I am a friend of Scouts BSA Troop 259. Recently they had their locked cargo trailer stolen from their church's parking lot off Pond Springs Road. That trailer contained all of the equipment that the Troop uses to run their scouting program. This is extremely devastating as the Troop has been picking back up activities during these social distanced times of COVID-19. This Troop serves approximately 30 youth in the Rattan Creek and surrounding areas. From their website:
I am collecting funds on their behalf to donate towards their replacing their stolen trailer and equipment (BSA policy does not permit Troops to solicit first hand). 100% of funds collected will be donated to the Troop with this purpose.
Thanks for anything you're able and willing to contribute. Scout On. ✌️⚜️
Scouts BSA Troop 259 has been growing future leaders from our northwest Austin community’s youth since June 1, 1989.
Many of our Scouts attend from junior high schools such as Deerpark, Grisham, Canyon Vista, Pearson Ranch, and Cedar Valley along with high schools such as McNeil or Westwood.
We meet weekly, camp monthly, and attend summer and high adventure camps annually. We are firm believers in giving back to our community through service. You will likely find our Scouts involved in local school and neighborhood activities.
