Help Scott out of homelessness

Donation protected
Through a mix of always putting others first and himself last, and some bad luck, Scott has found himself homeless.
He’s always tried to do the right thing and help and support others, including his ex-wife, his son, and his ex-partner’s children, and after working to the point of exhaustion to ensure their needs are met, Scott has found himself in a debt spiral and without anywhere to sleep. He’s currently getting food and shelter in a friend’s house (that’s me, and I’m writing this because Scott doesn’t instigate asking something from someone - I had to convince him to let me set this up!) but the house needs to be rented out in June and then he needs a home.
A barrage of long-term stress, work injuries, chronic pain, important documents lost while in the care of a previous landlord, and having to abruptly leave his last job as a maintenance assistant at a holiday caravan park due to violence from a psychopathic colleague - a professional MMA fighter sectioned 3 times - have accumulated into a situation where Scott needs a little community help from us to recover and get back on his feet.
He’s been regularly calling Shelter homeless charity (no help so far), council departments, Debt Line, mental health charities, Citizens Advice Bureau, a pro bono lawyer and other agencies in desperate efforts to improve his situation.

He bought a van with the last of his savings, and £3,000 will convert it into a campervan. He’s lined up a job as a delivery driver to start in June, and plans to park nearby and live in the van. This will allow him to earn, pay off debts, get back on his feet and eventually get a stable place of his own.

Scott is an exceptionally lovely, moral and kind man, who has been through the mill and been battered by life. When challenges become overwhelming, he takes it out on no-one but himself. Let’s help this soft soul have his own needs met for a change, and give him this little step-up needed to rebuild his life … and one day realise his dream of being a therapist because, unsurprisingly, his greatest passion is helping others.
