Dear friends and family,

As you all know I have been struggling with alcohol and drug abuse for many years now.

While I have had periods of successful sobriety I have come to the realization that I can no longer tackle this on my own and need to seek extended, professional help to deal with the underlying issues and end the cycle of self harm, and the harm I’ve done to many of you all in so many ways, for which I am truly sorry.

With this in mind , I have decided to enter an extended rehab program of 4 to 6 weeks after my last gigs in September in order to begin the journey of recovery and put these demons to bed once and for all.

This will mean I will not be able to work during the period of treatment.

The program itself, as well as travel expenses come with a significant financial cost (9350 euros) on top of my already significant monthly expenses for 1.5 months (4470 euros) .

As such , I am humbling asking for any and all financial contributions to help me on this journey, which, it is my great hope will allow me to finally get well, and get back to being the shining star you all know and love!

Again, I am so sorry for the pain my behavior as a result of these things has caused all of you in so many different ways over the last many years.

As you can imagine, I send this message with all humbleness and, truthfully, a great deal of fear. but also a great deal of hope for what the results of this process will provide.
