Help Schlichting family recover after house fire

Hey everyone… as most of you know, on Thursday, March 27, 2025, my sister Arell and her husband KJ, along with their 3 littles, experienced one of the most frightening incidents a young family can. Their home started on fire in the middle of the afternoon while they were briefly running typical errands. A very real reminder of how fast life can change. Thankfully, they are all ok, and despite the loss of their fur-babies, they are together and healthy.

Here's the tough part, Arell was already on leave from work due to a medical issue. KJ was working, but we all know it's tough these days. Now add this! Pretty much everything was damaged in some way… so clothes, bedding, toys… all no longer there to use. No kitchen to prepare meals. No permanent roof over their head. All while navigating the processes needed to keep moving forward. I can't imagine.

Anyway, there's so much uncertainty ahead for them that I'm hoping some financial assistance can make the days ahead a little easier for a family who just can't seem to catch a break.
