Match Funding Appeal to maintain the
Norwegian Church as a community asset.
The Architectural Heritage Fund has
awarded £4000 to the Welsh Norwegian
Society towards a feasibility study to
explore the best plan of saving the
Norwegian Church for the public. We need to match this generous award and we call
on everyone who loves the Norwegian
Church to help if you can. The Welsh
Norwegian Society is giving £500 to get
things started, and a private donor has
already sent us £100. So, now we just need to raise £3400 to reach the £4000 target. We appreciate that in the current climate
this won’t be possible for everyone. But if
you could share this page with your friends, we would be so grateful.
This feasibility study is the essential first
step towards saving the Norwegian
Church. You will be contributing to a
special project which will keep this unique building for its intended community use; to maintain the aims agreed by Roald
Dahl and the others who gave so
generously of their time to preserve this
iconic building which has heritage, arts and culture in its soul. If you can please donate
and share this appeal.
Thank YOU!
If more than £3400 is raised, then surplus
funds will go to benefit the Norwegian
Church.
