The Anarchist Closet is a punk rock thrift shoppe and consignment art shop where I flip trash into treasure. Over time, my shop has become a haven for local teenagers—a place where they can hang out, feel safe, and express themselves. I believe in the beauty and value of their happiness, and I want the community to see it too.

Recently, I partnered with a retro arcade to make fun affordable for everyone, with games priced to be accessible. The arcade has brought even more life to the shop, and supporting it is as simple as putting a few bucks into your game experience or grabbing some discount clothes and novelties. Unfortunately, harsh winter circumstances have made it difficult to keep up with rent and electric bills, and I’ve fallen behind. I don’t want to kick anyone out or close my doors—I want to keep this space open for the community.

Any money raised will go solely to rent and electric right now, helping me keep the doors open and the space safe for teens. With additional support, I can also improve the efficiency of the arcade games and layout. I appreciate all donations and shares, but there’s something magical about an in-person experience. That’s why I refuse to close my doors or move the shop online. If you’re able, please visit the Anarchist Closet, donate, or share this fundraiser to help keep our community haven alive.
