As we step into 2025, it’s no secret that the number of independent comic book stores is shrinking. Giants like Amazon make it tough to compete, and small businesses are feeling the pressure.

Nostalgic Comics, my second home and favorite hangout, has taken hit after hit — and while it’s still here, it’s hanging on by a thread.

If we want to keep holding real comic books in our hands and have a space where the community can gather, we have to stand by our local shops. Steve has built more than a comic store — he’s built a safe space for creativity, connection, and pure geeky joy.

I know Steve would never ask for help himself — but he’s always the first to offer it. So now it’s our turn to give back. Even $1 can make a difference.
