Hi, my name is Tara, and together with my fiancé Jake and our little one, Avery, we’re asking for support for our beloved dog, Sprocket.

Sprocket is a 4-year-old English Springer Spaniel with the biggest heart and the sweetest soul.

We just returned home from vacation to a nightmare — Sprocket was in serious distress. After rushing him to the emergency vet, we learned he has a bowel obstruction that requires immediate surgery. He is currently being prepped, and will need to remain hospitalized for 1–3 days depending on his recovery.

The cost of this surgery is estimated between $5,000–$8,000, with an upfront deposit of over $3,000 required just to proceed. While we are doing everything in our power to cover his care, the sudden cost is overwhelming.

Sprocket is more than just a dog to us — he’s family. At only four years old, he still has so much life, love, and joy left to share. We’re determined to give him the best chance at a full recovery.
