Help Save Sherlyn
Donation protected
Our cousin Sherlyn Titton (nee Hendrickse), has been through so much in her life and after covid, came to start a new life in the UK, she found a job within the Care Sector, which she loved. Sherlyn is the most caring person I know, always putting her loved ones first, the life and soul of any family gathering. We would love to have our beautiful cousin back to her happy loving self and with us here in the UK.
In July 2023, Sherlyn had 4 seizures whilst in the UK and was diagnosed epilepsy. Sherlyn then flew out to South Africa, in September 2023, to visit her son, a day after landing in SA, she had yet another seizure and was hospitalised. Sherlyn was in and out of the Groote Schuur Hospital, in Cape Town during Sept – Nov. Long story short our beautiful cousin has been diagnosed with having a large tumour (left temporal lobe tumour). With each day that passes, Sherlyn’s condition seems to worsen. After having this tumour further investigated, it was deemed in operable and that tumour had spread further. Sherlyn was given less than six months to live and sadly not able to return home to the UK. We have found alternative treatment in SA and to pay for this as well as help with her day to day living expenses and travel to and from the treatment centre as well as a live in carer is going to cost a fortune. As a family, we are appealing to anyone who can donate, it does not matter how much, but every little bit will help. Your thoughts and prayers too will be very much welcomed and appreciated, for we need a miracle right now.
