Dear Friends, Family, and Kind-hearted Strangers,

We come to you with heavy hearts and a plea for your help. Our precious 3-year-old son, Senay, is very unwell and fighting for his life. Born in Eritrea, Senay has faced numerous health challenges from the moment he came into this world. spending much of his life in and out of the hospital due to severe breathing issues, with his blood oxygen saturation level reaching dangerously low levels to life level at times. His condition has left him physically weak and unable to walk like other children his age. He has been entirely dependent on us and rest of the family for constant care and medical intervention,

Recently, Senay has been diagnosed with a life-threatening condition called Tracheoesophageal Fistula (TEF). This is a severe congenital condition where a portion of his esophagus is abnormally connected to his trachea (windpipe), making it nearly impossible for him to eat and breathe normally. This condition is critical and cannot be treated effectively here in Eritrea.

The only hope for Senay’s survival is to undergo specialized TEF repair surgery abroad. The cost for this life-saving treatment and associated medical care is estimated at £20,000. This amount covers the entire treatment plan, including surgery, hospital stays, and post-operative care.
