Recently, we faced an unexpected challenge: the restaurant downstairs closed, leaving us unable to cover rent and operating costs for the building. Despite our best efforts, we simply don’t make enough to keep Rumors open on our own. This venue means so much to so many people, and I can’t imagine losing the community we’ve built. I am committed to doing whatever it takes to keep Rumors running, whether it’s in our current space or a new permanent home. Our values will always stay the same, and our doors will always be open to anyone and everyone who wants to experience great local music in a safe, welcoming environment.
